Go & Tell Ministries

About the Founder

Jim Halstead has served as an ordained pastor with the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA), and the Christian Reformed Church (CRC) and has retired from the CRC with pastor emeritus status on July 19, 2020. He has been a special education teacher in Indiana for ten years and retired from the East Allen County Schools (Southwick Elementary School in Fort Wayne, Indiana) on May 21, 2021. He founded Go & Tell Ministries in the fall of 2020, and he now serves full-time as a missionary with Go & Tell Ministries.  He is licensed and ordained with the Midwest District C&MA as the “Discipleship Catalyst of The Alliance Midwest District” and is recommended to the fellowship of all evangelical Christians. He also holds his retired ordination license with the Christian Reformed Church and, as a retired minister, retains the title of minister of the Word and the authority conferred by the church to perform official acts of ministry.

The Go and Tell Evangelism Workshop was written by Pastor Jim in August 2013, and he began to present the Go & Tell Evangelism Workshop in September 2013. The Christian Reformed Church National Synod (2018) has endorsed the Go and Tell Evangelism Seminar as an effective evangelism and church planting tool. Go & Tell Ministries is also endorsed by the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA), Christian Reformed Church (CRC), Missionary Church (MCUSA), Fellowship of Evangelical Churches (FEC), Alliance of Reformed Churches, and many other groups and churches. The Go & Tell Evangelism Workshop has been accessed worldwide and is used as an evangelism training tool.

About the Ministry

Go & Tell Ministries was founded and received its 501(c)3 non-profit status in September of 2020. This ministry was created out of a great need for more laypeople to be equipped to share the gospel with the lost. After much prayer and supplication, the Lord gave Pastor Jim a vision of how to equip the body of Christ to easily share the gospel and fulfill the Great Commission. With the Lord’s continued leading he analyzed the best evangelism materials out there, incorporated his 40+ years of evangelism experience and produced a step-by-step easy-to-follow evangelism approach. Since then, he has been teaching and providing these evangelism materials to churches ministries and laypeople who wish to be better equipped in their evangelistic efforts locally and globally.

Go and Tell Ministries Workshops and Resources are based on scripture, stories, and simplicity to equip you to share the gospel and make disciples. Go & Tell Ministries seeks to equip the church to share the gospel and make disciples through a variety of evangelism and discipleship tools.
